President of Brink Constructors
Zane Brink has unparalleled experience in the ever-changing transmission industry, starting his 24-year career as a foreman/lineman and working his way up primarily through the ranks of the family-owned business. He rejoined Brink after earning a B.S. in Civil Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
Mr. Brink became President and Senior Manager of the Transmission Line Division in 2008. His work over the last two decades has ranged from designing transmission lines to estimation and managing the construction of 5kV to 345kV transmission projects. Mr. Brink also has extensive experience in using helicopters (heavy-lift and side-pull) to aid in the construction of transmission projects. Mr. Brink is well-known and respected in the electrical construction industry and has a reputation of completing projects safely, on-time, and within budget.
Mr. Albrecht has been with Brink since April of 2014. He previously worked for Black Hills Corporation for 9 years, an investor owned utility based in Rapid City SD, where he was the Director, Supply Chain. He provided all Supply Chain diligence work on their largest acquisition. From this he was charged with the centralization of all Supply Chain functions and processes including Contracts, Negotiations, Purchasing, Materials Management and Fleet. He was also the lead on the development of the Supply Chain modules of the PeopleSoft system for Black Hills and was the liaison between the operating units and the Supply Chain organization.
Mr. Albrecht has extensive background in the utility industry as well as Business Operations and Maintenance. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of South Dakota and an MBA from the University of Mary. His focus is to add value and drive safe and efficient processes in all areas of Brink Constructors. Brent’s current responsibilities outside the Executive Management team, are to ensure all functions including Contracts Management, Safety, Environmental, Human Resources, Marketing and QA/QC operate as designed. These business functions need to be efficient, run safely and with the least amount of risk.
